Lease Return Options:
Our goal is to make your transition out of your current lease as simple as possible so that your daily driving experiences remain as smooth as ever and your life isn't interrupted when your lease ends. You should start considering your lease-end options when there are about six months left on your lease. The following are the choices you'll have at our Southern Alberta Ford dealership when your lease is up:
Purchase Your Leased Vehicle:
If you've come to love your Ford over the years and aren't quite ready to part ways with it, you don't have to! We're happy to sell your leased vehicle to you. Under a Red Carpet Lease, you, the lessee, have the option to purchase your vehicle. If you're interested in finding out your vehicle's purchase price, just contact us here and someone will get in touch with you shortly with your purchase price. If you’ve decided to buy out your lease, we can schedule an appointment for your pre-termination inspection between four and six months from the scheduled lease end date. In order to purchase your vehicle, you'll just have to settle any remaining financial obligations and sign some paperwork to complete your transaction. Any excess mileage and/or wear and tear will NOT have an impact on your purchase price. Usually we can help finance the remaining balance with attractive payment and warranty options.
Buy or Lease a New Ford:
If you don't want to keep driving your current vehicle, our sales team can help you pick out a brand-new Ford to buy or lease. You should schedule a pre-termination inspection with us sometime between 120 and 180 days from your scheduled lease-end date. It’s a good idea to think about your current vehicle and things you may have liked or disliked about it, as well as anything that you wish you had gotten the last time. Then check out our selection of new Ford models, Certified Pre-Owned Ford vehicles and our used inventory. Don't forget we have great new lease specials, too.
Return Your Leased Vehicle:
Your last option is probably the simplest one. If your lease is up and you no longer want your vehicle, you can easily turn it in and walk away. Whether you leased your Ford from one of Alberta’s Leasing Headquarters or not, we can help facilitate your return. As always, it is a good idea to have a pre-termination inspection at our location between four and six months before your lease is supposed to end. We'll evaluate its overall condition and let you know if there are any excess wear or use charges. You can also schedule repairs or part replacements with us to avoid some chargeable fees.
