Continuing a Tradition of Support: $10,000 for the Tsuut’ina Nation Food Bank

Continuing a Tradition of Support: $10,000 for the Tsuut’ina Nation Food Bank

Supporting the Tsuut’ina Nation Food Bank for the Fourth Consecutive Year

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and in the spirit of reconciliation, Metro Ford, Taza Park Volkswagen and Big 4 Motors have once again come together to support the Tsuut’ina Nation Food Bank.

Now in our fourth consecutive year of supporting the Food Bank, the three dealerships contributed a combined $10,000 donation to help support the essential work it provides for Nation members each month.

Honouring the Land and the Spirit of Reconciliation

Metro Ford acknowledges that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Tsuut’ina, Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

We also acknowledge the pain and suffering experienced by Indigenous people as a result of the residential school system.

Continuing Our Relationship with the Tsuut’ina Community

As neighbours and a business located at Taza Park on Tsuut’ina Nation, we are grateful for the relationships we have built within the Tsuut’ina community and for the opportunity to support the Tsuut’ina Nation Food Bank.

We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that make a positive and lasting impact for Nation members for years to come.
