Metro Ford Delivers Over 1,000 lbs of Food to the Calgary Food Bank

Our truck was full, and thanks to the generosity of our customers, staff and community, Metro Ford proudly delivered over 1,000 pounds of donated food to the Calgary Food Bank!

Throughout September, Metro Ford participated in Ford's Building Together initiative, part of the World's Largest Auto Dealer Food Drive. The global campaign brings Ford dealerships together to support local food banks and help families facing food insecurity.

Here in Calgary, we invited our customers, employees and community to help us fill an F-150 with non-perishable food donations. What started as a truck on our showroom floor quickly turned into an incredible collection of food, all destined to help people right here in our community.

A Team Effort Worth Celebrating

A special thank you goes to the Metro Ford Social Committee, who organized and led the food drive, encouraged participation and helped make the campaign such a success.

We also want to thank everyone who contributed. Whether you dropped off a can, a box, a bag of groceries or made a monetary donation, every contribution helped us reach this milestone.

And of course, thank you to the Calgary Food Bank for the warm welcome when we arrived to deliver our donations.

Building Together, Giving Back Locally

Ford's global food drive builds on an incredible effort by dealerships around the world, which collectively gathered more than 2 million pounds of food last year.

We're proud to have contributed to this year's initiative and even prouder that our donations will support individuals and families in the Calgary area.

At Metro Ford, being part of the community means more than selling and servicing vehicles. It's about supporting our neighbours, working together and making a positive difference wherever we can.

Thank you, Calgary, for helping us fill the truck!
